My name is Kaushik, p.k.a (Professionally Known As) Karasama Beats. I'm from a city called Guwahati, situated in the North- Eastern Region of India called Assam.
I'm a 90's kid, so that should probably explain why I'm such a BoomBap head π€£. I also love working on Lofi and RnB music a lot btw.
I've had a funny turnover in my career since Covid hit us recently. Prior to the hardcore Covid lockdown, I was a Mechanical Engineer working in an Investment Casting Company in Wuhan, China (Yea I can imagine your facial expression right now haha). I did my Bachelors and Masters from Huazhong University of Science and Technology Under Chinese Government Scholarship.
I've always been involved with music one way or the other. I started my journey in music from being a keyboardist in a Metal Band to being a drummer for a Rock Band, and eventually landed with a Jazz Band after a few years. Yeap You heard it right " From Metal To Jazz" LOL.
When I returned back home during Covid, I had a lot of free time at hand and I decided to start working on creating original compositions on my laptop. I started with Lofi Music Covers for my Youtube Channel but eventually as my skills grew, I transitioned into becoming a beatmaker.
Only until recently, I decided to quit my job and become a fulltime Music Producer. I realized that either I had to give my everything towards my passion or just quit it you know ! It's definitely scary to be honest, but then again, it's my passion after all. What's the worst that happen ? Fail ? I'll simply restart again. It's simply too late to quit anyway. That's it π
